History

R.I.C.H. Kids Inc., was organized as a public charity in Studio City, CA in 2006. Previously the founder, Kay Smith a Flint, MI native, participated in Monster’s Diversity Leadership programs as a student and touring facilitator. Astonished by the impact of these high energy edutainment programs, Kay began researching how to start a non profit that would help residents in her hometown and abroad.

RICH Kids began to produce meaningful events, educational opportunities and sustainable programs for all. Partnering with NBA and NFL champions, Award-winning Broadway producers, playwrights and actors, Oscar nominees, Harvard University, Microsoft, and New York Times best selling authors, RICH Kids connects communities to world-class programs, individuals and organizations to level the playing field and enrich the lives of those near and far.
